The Legal requirement is now as follows:
You must order an E.P.C. at time of first marketing your property. You then have a period of 28 days to provide the E.P.C. report. Both sales and rental E.P.C.s will be valid for 10 years.
(You may wish to voluntarily renew your certificate if you significantly improve the energy efficiency of your property with a new condensing boiler, double glazing, insulation or renewable technologies which will help sell or rent your property)
